The owners of these premium Notting Hill apartments were spread to the four corners of the world – Los Angeles, Hong Kong, Greece and the French Riviera respectively – and so were no longer in a position to keep a close eye on their properties and protect their investment.
In bringing in 1st Asset to manage the block the owners were able to finally get to the source of some long-standing maintenance issues – such as a mystery leak that was damaging the stonework around the windows and the frustrating intermittent failures of the door-entry system. They were also able to come together and agree a budget to fully refurbish the front of the property, which had over the years fallen behind its neighbours in terms of presentation, and so was at risk of losing market value.
